ANDERSON Starr Knight Anderson, 48, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 1, 2003. She has gone home to be with her Heavenly Father, who promises us eternal life through Jesus Christ. She was born in Rochester, New York on October 6, 1954. She lived her early years in New York then moved with her family to Las Vegas, Nevada. She attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, thereafter moving with her family to Jacksonville. We have many cherished memories of a devoted and loving wife and mother. She dearly loved her family, friends, and church family. She always showed great interest and pride in the activities of her children. She was a member of the Mandarin Presbyterian Church. She loved to read the Bible and teach one-on-one Bible studies. Through her years at Mandarin Presbyterian Church, she was involved in many womens ministries and served as a Deacon. Preceded in death by her father-in-law, Arthur Anderson, she is survived by her loving husband, Mark; cherished sons, Zachary Mark and Chase Daniel; parents, Donald and Ann Knight; sisters, Robin Burns (Mark) and Kimberly Malloy (Monty); brothers, Dan Knight and Tom knight; nieces, Morgann and Jordann Burns, Lynsey, Autumn and Melissa Malloy, and Christine Knight; mother-in-law, Barbara Anderson; brothers-in-law, Jeff Anderson (Carol) and Chris Anderson (Anita); and nephews, Bryon Anderson (Claire), Paul Anderson (Melanie), Nicholas and Stephen Anderson. Starrs memorial service will be held at the Mandarin Presbyterian Church on Monday, May 5, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. Donations may be made to the Mandarin Presbyterian Church (Starr Fund) or Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
