Obituary of Stanley Williams


Stanley Baxter Williams, 60, of 2452 Earls Bridge Road, died Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at his home.Born in Greenville County, Mr. Williams was a son of Earle Wayne and Dorothy Padgett Williams of Easley. He graduated from Dacusville High School and retired from Rand McNalley. He was a former supervisor with Pet Dairy. Mr. Williams was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was in the National Guard. Surviving in addition to his parents are one son, Joshua W. Williams and his wife, Angela, of Dacusville; two daughters, Charlene Lesley of Easley and Brandi Johnson and her husband, Richard, of Pickens; one sister, Gloria Wilson of Dacusville; and six grandchildren. Mr. Williams was predeceased by a brother, Donald Wayne Williams. Graveside funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday before the service.Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1621 Hester Store Road, Easley, SC 29640.The family is at the home of his parents, 2410 Earls Bridge Road, Easley, SC 29640.Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or in person at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, who is assisting the family.
