ST. JOHN Viola E St. John passed from this earth to meet her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. She was 87 years of age. Viola was born in Fowler, Michigan on January 4, 1923 where she was one of seven children. She was married in Detroit, MI to her husband Robert H. St. John who has predeceased her. Early in their lives, they moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida where they raised four children. She is survived by a brother, Paul Ulrich (Jane) of MI. Viola will be missed by her four adult children. Maureen St. John, Nancy Ann Tacu (Nic), and Teresa St. John all of Jacksonville, FL and a son, Robert H. St John (Sharon, children Michael and Michelle Biggers) of Quincy, FL. Viola has two adult grand children, Jenna Daniels (Jimmy) of Tennessee, and Steven St. John (Amy) who resides in New Mexico. She also has one great grandson, Jaden Daniels and many nephews and nieces in Michigan. Viola was a devout member of St. Paul's Catholic Church at Jacksonville Beach since 1953 and an active member of the Beaches Senior Center for many years, where she organized senior activities until she herself needed additional care. She loved helping the homeless and the Seniors in her area. She lived a very humble and quiet life. A funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010, at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Committal and burial services will follow in H. Warren Smith Cemetery.
