Funeral services for Sr. Mary Brigid Moroney, SSJ, 92, of Rutland, who died Sept. 12, 2010, were held Thursday, Sept. 16, at Mount St. Joseph Convent Chapel. Officiating was the Rt. Rev. Msgr Reid C. Mayo. Concelebrants were the Rev. Remigius Ntahondi, the Rev. John Herbert, the Rev. Joseph Pray, Msgr. Frank S. Warzocha, the Rev. John Hamilton, the Rev. Luke Austin, the Rev. Skip Baltz and the Rev. Justin Baker. John Riddle was organist. Cynthia Wierzbicki was vocalist. Reader and eulogist was Sr. Mary Harvey. Bearers were James Kelley, Timothy McCue, Paulo Zancanaro, Michael Audette, Raymond Moroney and James Cuotto. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery with the Sisters of St. Joseph reading the prayers of the burial service. Arrangements were under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
