Leo R. Morin, Sr. 1934 - 2014 Putnam - Leo R. Morin, Sr., 80, of Ballou St., Putnam formerly of N. Grosvenordale, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Pine Grove Nursing Home. He is the loving husband of Rachael (Bazinet) Morin. Born in N. Grosvenordale, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alice (Fournier) Morin. Leo was a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Morin was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan and devoted follower of the Notre Dame Football team. Leo was a life member of the VFW Post 1523, American Legion, and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Cargill Council. In addition to his wife, Leo is survived by sons; Leo R. Morin, Jr and his wife Lois of Orange Park, FL, Michael G. Morin and his wife Carol of Worcester, MA, and Glenn A. Morin and his devoted friend Shannon Goulet of Norwich; sister Lucille Gilbert of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Kevin, Jessica, David, Glenn Jr., April, Melissa, Angela, and Candice; great grandchildren, Oliver, Maximillian, Fabien, Bastian Leo, and Kailey; and several nieces and nephews. Leo is predeceased by three sister Florence Larouche, Rita Markie, and Jeannette Ducharme. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Leo's family from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam.
