Family-Placed Funeral Notice MR. DAN SMITH, Sr. Born June 24, 1938 in Dooly County, GA to the late Mr. Russell Smith and Mrs. Arma McKenzie Smith. He married his sweetheart Sarah Mae Royal Smith on February 25, 1957. Dan was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Palms West Hospital in Royal Palm Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Mae Royal Smith; daughter, Beatrice Irene Smith; sons, Dan, Jr. and Curtis Bernard Smith. Special memories will be cherished by his remaining six loving and devoted children: Charles Smith Sr. (Sherrie), Erma Jean Smith Harrison (Ronney), Patricia Ann Smith Oliver (Terry), Elaine Laverne Smith, Jacqualine Verlisha Smith and Anthony Lenard Smith (Annie Jean); also survived by his siblings and 26 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be March 4, 2006 11AM at Glades Central Community High School (Auditorium) 1100 S.W. Avenue M, Belle Glade, FL 33430. Brother Michael Wilson, Elder.
