COLLINS, Sister Mary Theresa, O.S.F., 95, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007, in Tampa. Sister Mary Theresa Collins, O.S.F., took her final vows August 16, 1953. She had been in religious life for 62 years. Among her many assignments she ministered at St. Joseph' s Hospital, Franciscan Center, St. Mary' s Hospital, St. Franis Inn and St. Bonaventure Parish in Allegany, N.Y. Sister Mary Theresa was preceded in death by her brother, John Lee Collins. She is survived by her nephew, Frank Collins, D.D.S., and wife, Mary; nieces, Nancy Dawson, and Elaine Stephens and husband, Phillip; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral Mass will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 6, at St. Elizabeth Convent, 3000 N. Perry Ave., celebrated by Father Sam Vaccarella, Father Peter Foley and Father Glenn Diaz.
