FINN, Sister Mary Margaret At the residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph, 485 Windermere Road, London, Ontario, on Saturday, November 3, 2007, Sister Mary Margaret Finn of the Community of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Diocese of London in her 88th year and her 68th year of religious life. Lovingly remembered by her sisters in community, the Sisters of St. Joseph, and by her nieces Mary Grace (DeWeese), Mary Margaret (Dandeneau), Jonda (Pierott) and her nephew Peter (Dandeneau). Predeceased by her parents Mary Margaret Hanlon and Roscoe Finn. Sister Mary Margaret is also the last in a line of brothers and sisters, being predeceased by Reverand Joseph Finn, Reverand John Finn, Kathleen Dandeneau and Dr. James Finn. Sister Mary Margaret (formerly known as Sister Marina) taught in several elementary schools in London, Windsor, Tillsonburg, Goderich, Zurich, Edmonton and Killam Alberta. Many years were in teaching grade 1 pupils to read and it was often said of her that she could teach anyone to read. Many pupils experienced that her confidence in them and her warmth toward them made this possible. Ever the teacher, after retirement, Sister Mary Margaret volunteered to work with pupils on a on-to-one basis at Blessed Kateri and St. Michael's schools in London. Her nieces and nephew recall her warmth and will remember fondly a very kind aunt. Resting at the residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph, 485 Windermere Road, London, on Sunday, November 4, from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Joseph Chapel, residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph, on Monday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, London
