TRENTON - Shirley Williams, 74, died on Friday, July 22, 2011, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Born and educated in Eastman, Ga., she had been a resident of Trenton for 60 years. She was a self-employed domestic and had worked for several area families over the years. She was predeceased by her husband, John Williams, her parents, Obie and Gracie Mae Hall, three children, Matthew and Bernice Hall, and Randolph Scott, one brother and six sisters, one son-in-law, Ronald Tiggett, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Tiggett of Philadelphia, Renee Scott and Theresa Williams (fiancé, Steven McKoy) all of Trenton; her stepson, John Edwards Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 17 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Anderson Funeral Service, 300 N. Willow St., Trenton. Calling hours are from 8 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing Township.
