Shirley Temple Walker Davis, 62, after a long, courageous battle with cancer, passed away Oct. 7, 2011, at home with her husband and daughter by her side. Shirley is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Harry L. Davis; her daughter and son-in-law, Ulaunda Yvette and Corey Reese, Hackettstown, N.J.; her sisters, Helen Walker, Snow Hill, N.C., and Virginia Hagwood (Phil), Louisburg, N.C.; brothers, Marshall Walker, Waldorf, Md., Burnice Walker, Raleigh, N.C., Joshua Patterson (Gerri), Trenton, N.C., and Ricky Walker (Carol), Maryland; recently deceased brother, Alvin Walker, Raleigh, N.C.; a host of cousins; nieces; nephews; spiritual children, and grandchildren, and a loving 92-year old aunt, Flonia Brooks, Louisburg, N.C. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 70 North Arlington Ave., East Orange, N.J. 07018.
