Shirley R. (Guay) Andersonof Leominster; 82 LEOMINSTER -- Shirley R. (Guay) Anderson, 82, died peacefully December 2, 2014, at home, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.She was born September 16, 1932 in Manchester, NH, the daughter of late Hervey and Rachel (Huot) Guay. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1951 and was employed by Carrington Card Co. and with the IRS for ten years.She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church and spent countless hours working the concession stand for the North Leominster Little League. She loved all the New England sports teams especially the Red Sox, spending time at Foxwoods Casino, cooking for her family and knitting.She leaves her husband of 61 years, Robert Anderson, four sons, Gary Anderson and his wife, Diane, of Phillipston, Barry Anderson of Leominster, John Anderson and his wife, Donna, of Leominster and Scott Anderson of Leominster and her daughter, Robin Franklin and her husband, Dallas, of Athol, daughter-in-law, Joyce Anderson of Lunenburg, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, David Anderson, her granddaughter, Nicole Anderson and two sisters, Pauline Allen and Alice Kelley.ANDERSON -- The funeral will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster. There are no calling hours. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Health Alliance Home Health and Hospice, 25 Tucker Dr., Leominster, MA 01453. Brandon Funeral Home, Fitchburg is directing arrangements.
