WELLS, Shirley Mae Age 80, of Greensboro, NC, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. A private service of remembrance was held. A Syracuse, NY native, Shirley was born November 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Heffner Miner. She was a member of West Market Street United Methodist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by a son, Gregory D. Wells. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Gordon D. Wells of the home; her son, Gary D. Wells of the home; two brothers, Ron Miner and wife, Marta of FL, and Wayne Miner of Elmira; her sister, Jean Wise and husband, Henry of Elmira; sister-in-law, Betty Emma Wells of Blue Bell, PA; one grandson, Patrick Wells of Greensboro; and many cousins, nieces nephews.
