Lexington - Shirley Mae Morgan, 64, wife of Zane Morgan, died Monday, September 19, 2005 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Omie Mae Burdette Escoe. She was a member of Crawford Baptist Church and volunteered at Quiet Oaks Nursing Home. She is survived by her husband Zane, daughter, Teresa Morgan of Lexington, sisters, Janice Richardson of Watkinsville, Dorothy Manders of Watkinsville, Billy Joe Cummings of Arkansas, brother, Sam Escoe of Bogart and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 10AM at Athens Memory Gardens with Rev. David Shivar officiating. Lord & Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
