MORRISON, Shirley Doreen May 3, 1934 - June 10, 2007 Shakespeare once wrote, "...the good men do is oft interred with their bones". The family of Shirley Morrison invites you to come and celebrate the good in her life. Shirley was a good daughter of the late Ben and Myrtle Featherson, a good and loving wife to her beloved husband, the late Ken Morrison, and a good mother, proud of her two sons, Chris (Danielle) and Ross (Diane), and proud of their accomplishments. She was also a good grandmother to Samantha, Emily, John and Teresa, who all benefited from her kind and generous spirit. She was a good aunt to many nephews and nieces. Shirley was a good friend and was blessed with some very good life-long friends in return, especially Pat Stoate, Betty MacGuire, and Norah Perez. A special thanks to her kind and helpful neighbours, especially Marcel D'Aoust and her sisters-in-law Kay Ingraham and Judy Thompson. Shirley fought the good fight against many illnesses, but finally lost the ultimate battle with cancer. Please join us in remembrance of the life of Shirley Morrison at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Wednesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. followed by inurnment at Pinecrest Cemetery.
