Shirley Jean JohnsonDanvilleFuneral service for Shirley Jean Johnson, 70, of Danville will be today, April 10, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church with Brother Steve Ledbetter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.Mrs. Johnson died on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born October 25, 1942, in Limestone County to Thomas Herman Coffman and Maggie Childers Coffman. Mrs. Johnson was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife who was married to her husband, Jimmie Johnson for over 53 years. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Danville. She enjoyed vacationing with her family, especially in the Smokey Mountains. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, and daughter, Sonja Bullard; one grandson: Shane Johnson; and three sisters. Survivors include her husband, James Doyle "Jimmie" Johnson; two sons, Greg Johnson and Phillip Johnson, both of Danville; two daughters. Rhonda Tanksley and Tena Livingston, both of Danville; three brothers, Lonnie Coffman of Cullman, Larry Coffman and Billy Coffman, both of Eva; two sisters, Faye Carter of Eva and Janet Hicks of Decatur; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brian Bullard, Derrick Johnson, Cody Johnson, Jeremy Dotson, Dusty Johnson and Heath Compton. www.peckfuneralhome.com
