Shirley Irene Jackson April 30, 1943 - March 27, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) JACKSON, Shirley Irene - 60, Upper Sackville, passed away peacefully March 27, 2004, in the VG Site, QEII. Born April 30, 1943, in Birchtown, Shelburne Co., she was a daughter of Alice (Collupy) (Robertson) Ellis and the late Wilbert Robertson. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and touched the hearts of many. Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her husband, David, Upper Sackville; mother, Alice Ellis, Lower Sackville; sons, David (Tanya), Lower Sackville; Michael (Kim), Chezzetcook; Christopher (Amanda), Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob and Ava. She was predeceased by her sister, Gale Roberta Robertson. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 77 Beaverbank Rd., Lower Sackville. A private family burial will take place in Oakridge Memory Gardens followed by a reception in Kingdom Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lower Sackville.
