Shirley Harriet Friedman Davis, 82, of 5 Hazeltine Court, died March 1, 2005, at North Greenville Hospital.A native of Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Jack and Matilda Friedman. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and was of the Jewish faith. She loved volunteer work and had worked with Hadassah.Surviving are her husband, Dr. Edward H. Davis of the home; a daughter, Anita D. Winn of Simpsonville; a son, Dr. Lawrence Paul Davis of Glen Cove, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Wood Mortuary. Burial will be in Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, N.Y.Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Wood Mortuary.The family is at the home of her daughter, Anita Winn, 212 Roberts Farm Road, Simpsonville.
