Shirley Davis MADISON - Shirley Davis, 65, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004. The service will be at 2 p.m. EDT Friday at Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel (850-973-2258), with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308, or the Pine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 4084 N.E. Rocky Ford Road, Madison, FL 32340.She was born in Madison County, where she lived most of her life. She worked for Continental Insurance Co. in Jacksonville and was transferred to Indianapolis, where she retired. She moved back to Madison in 1994 and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother, Wally Davis (and wife Vonnie) of Madison; four sisters, Mary Ann Burns and Becky Davis, both of Madison, Carolyn Flowers (and husband Earl) of Yulee and Frances Vasily (and husband Bill) of New Lowell, Canada; a sister-in-law, Donna Davis of Madison; a special friend, June Pritt of Tampa; and a host of nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosa Lillian Davis, and a brother, Bobby Davis.
