BLACK, Shirley Lorna Peacefully in hospital, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Reverend W.E. (Bill) Black. Dear mother of Dave (Barb) of Morrisburg, Laura Black (Gordon Alexander) of Sarnia and Stephen (Devorah Noble) of Almonte. Loving Nana of Shari (Dean Westman), Julia (Wayne Baker), Adam and Charlotte. Great Nana of Danika, Kira, Joshua, Sabrina and Cody. Cherished sister of Neita Black. Predeceased by her sister Lauretta. Shirley dedicated her life to church and pastoral care services. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean on Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Emmanuel United Church, 691 Smyth Road, Ottawa, on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Interment St. Andrew's United Cemetery, Bainsville, Ontario Monday at 1:30 p.m. If you wish to make a donation in memory of Shirley please consider the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, 2411-40 Ruskin Street, Ottawa, ON K1Y 4W7 or the charity of your choice.
