Obituary of Sheryl-Ann Carter-Knighten

Sheryl Ann Carter-Knighten SPARTANBURG, SC-- Sheryl Ann Carter-Knighten, 46 of 1110 Tiffany Drive, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at her home. Born January 2, 1968 in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of Manie W. Kent Sr. of Spartanburg and Linda Kimmons Sapp and husband Herman of Campobello. She was a member of Turning Point Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her parents and step-father, are her husband, Randy Knighten of Spartanburg; sons, Scott Barnette and wife Laura and Jordan Carter all of Spartanburg; sister, Sheila Dell of Oceanside, CA; brother, Manie W. Kent Jr. of Greenville; half-sisters, Angela Everett of Alachua, FL and Tonya Smith of Landrum. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Todd Black officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Turning Point Freewill Baptist Church, 104 Fairview Church Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
