Sherman Lee Smith, age 70, of Athens died December 24, 2012.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Chapel of Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home. Interment will be held in East Lawn Cemetery.Viewing will be held Sunday, 1-7 p.m. at the funeral home.Survivors include one Sister, Mamie (Leonard, Jr.) Champion; niece, Keisha Champion; 2 nephews, Jeffrey Smith and Demaurio Flanigan.
