Davis, Shelia JuneShelia June Davis, a long-time resident of Fairfield County, entered eternal rest Wednesday the 30th of July, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family and close friends. Born on July 25th, 1950 in Birmingham, Alabama she was preceded in death by her parents James Sharrock Sr. and Elizabeth Carr, as well as her older brother James Sharrock Jr. and former husband of 20 years Robert E. Davis, Sr. Shelia started her career as a computer programmer in the 1980's, until the early 2000's when she made a career shift into the masonry industry. She started her own business and named it Web Stone by Design. She was a very smart, savvy business woman with a real "go get him" attitude. Shelia loved to experience new things, such as zip-lining and riding a Segway. She also loved to travel; she has visited many of the 50 states, as well as different countries throughout Europe and even a few cruises to the Caribbean. She had a loving personality that could light up a room with those amazing blue eyes and genuine heartwarming smile. As much as she loved to travel, she was happiest when she was with her family, whether it be dinner with her brother once a week, a sleepover with her grandchildren, or letting her great grandson teeth on her finger. To her, family was the most important thing in life and she took every chance she could to spend time with them. Shelia is survived by two brothers, Bill Sharrock and his wife Bridget and their son Julius, John Houston and his wife Deborah and their son Jonathan. She is also survived by two children, Robert E. Jr. and Laura M. Davis and four grandchildren, George M. Santiago Sr., Robert A., Brooke E. and Hunter J. Davis; as well as a great grandchild, George M. Santiago Jr., a niece Carol and husband Mike and their son Matthew as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins both here in Connecticut and North Carolina. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, August 24th, 2014 from 2-4pm, in the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. So come out for Shelia's final "See you later-Bye".
