Shelby Leigh Neill Woods, 18, Sarasota, died Oct. 2, 2002. She was born June 19, 1984, in Sarasota and was a lifelong resident. She was a student at Sarasota High School. She was a member of the Girl Scouts. Survivors include her father and stepmother, Don and Patricia of Sarasota; her mother, Deidre Neill and stepfather, Doug Burnett of Sarasota; grandmother, Irish of Sarasota; grandparents Eloise and John F. Neill of Sarasota; a sister, Taylor M. Burnett of Sarasota; a brother, John C. Burnett of Sarasota; and a stepbrother, Max Beaudreau of Sarasota. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today, with a service to follow at Ewing Funeral Home in Venice. Private burial will be later.
