THOMAS--Sharon, 63, on April 20, 2010. She was born in Montreal, Canada and came to New York in 1969. Sharon was a highly regarded and esteemed member of the J.I. Sopher & Co, Inc team for over 42 years. Sharon lived her life on her own terms, independent yet fiercely loyal to those she held dear. Her greatest joy was her son Darryl and her granddaughter Lia. Sharon's wit and zeal for life will be missed by all who knew her. Sharon is survived by her beloved son Darryl of North Carolina, his partner Cary Brown, granddaughter Lia Rose, niece, Stacey Friedman, adored sister of Lilly and Irwin Friedman, Hy Fish, the late Betty Yampolsky and Sylvia Glazer.
