Sharon Lee Smith Sharon Lee Smith BRAINTREE Sharon Lee Smith, 52, of Braintree, died peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, Dec. 5, 2009. She was born May 11, 1957, in Boston, a daughter of Blanche J. (Bennett) (Smith) Bolter and the late William L. Smith. Sharon was raised in Roxbury, Quincy and Braintree and was a graduate of Quincy High School. She also attended Quincy Junior College and UMass-Boston. Sharon worked in a variety of fields, enjoying customers and co-workers. An avid bingo player, she was a loyal Red Sox and Patriots fan. Sharon traveled, enjoyed water sports and fishing. She wrote poetry and was a published poet. She was the beloved daughter of Blanche J. (Bennett) Smith-Bolter and her husband William T. Bolter Sr. of Braintree; loving sister of Cheryl Romano and Randolph, Sandra Burns and her husband Allan of Whitman; loving girlfriend of Paul Cleaves of Braintree; adored and cherished aunt of Anastasia, Allan Jr. and Caitlyn Burns, all of Whitman. Sharon was predeceased by her daughter, Amber Lee Smith. Funeral from the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Braintree, Thursday at 8 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Saint Francis of Assisi Church at 9 a.m. Interment in Braintree Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Mass., 577 Main St., Wareham, MA 02571.
