Sharon Elizabeth Wilson, 67, State College, PA, died Friday, February 6, 2009, at State College, PA. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday March 7th at Guthrie United Methodist Church with Dr. Rob Ballard and Mike Reeves officiating. Cook-Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wilson was born May 5, 1941 in Only, Tennessee the daughter of Ernest Lamar Warren and Martha Nickel Warren Kelsey. Mrs. Wilson was a member and deacon of the Presbyterian Church USA. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband Reverend Al Wilson of State College, PA, one son Lt. Colonel Christopher Wilson of Chesapeake, VA, two daughters Diana Malcom of State College, PA, and Laura Steager of Port Matilda, PA. Also survived by her mother Martha Kelsey of Guthrie. Two brothers E.L. Warren and Jon Warren of Guthrie. Four sisters Mary Frances Matthews of Old Hickory, TN, Floy Philbrick of Franklin, KY, Susan Joseph of Clarksville, TN, and Wilma Quire of Sun City Center, FL, and 7 grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Guthrie United Methodist Church.
