Senna Mae Johnson, 96, died Aug. 12, 2011, at Palm Garden Rehabilitation Center, Port St. Lucie. She was born in Newton, Ga., and was a resident of St. Lucie County for more than 50 years. She was a founding member of St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as financial secretary and on the Usher Board, Mission Board, Home Aide Society and Pastor Aid Society. Survivors include her daughter, Thomasina D. Adams of Jacksonville; sister, Sally Lofton of Winter Garden; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Brown, Arthur Brown and King D. Brown; and sisters, Penny O. Brown, Henrietta White and Bertha Kegler. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Aug. 19 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 20 at St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church.
