CHARTERS, SELINA MARY (RN) The passing of Selina (Lena) Mary Charters (RN) occurred in her 89th year, on September 29th, 2004, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. "May her soul finally rest in peace." Born in Rusagonis, NB, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Astley) Mills. Mrs. Charters is survived by 2 daughters, Judy and her children Crystal, Mitch and John Claybourn of Fredericton, and Heather and her children Naomi and Zachary Howes of Fredericton; one sister Edna Mills of Saint John; one brother Lee Mills (Isabel) of Waasis; numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and special friend Edie Bailey. Besides her parents, Selina is predeceased by her late husband John Charters and one sister, Lois. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, September 30th, from 7 to 9 PM and Friday, October 1st, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 2 PM on Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating. Interment will follow at the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Mitch Claybourn, John Claybourn, Naomi Howes, Nelson Mills, Carmen Mills and Robin Mills.
