Sarah V. Arrington, 88, Palmetto, died Feb. 14, 2006, in Woods at Manatee Springs in Bradenton. She was born Aug. 11, 1917, in Rock Run, Ala., and came to Manatee County in 1948 from Cedartown, Ga. She worked in the sectioning department at Tropicana. She was a Baptist. Survivors include a daughter, Glenda DuFosse of Bakersfield, Calif.; a son, Joe W. of Palmetto; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manatee Avenue Chapel. No local service is planned. Burial will be at Arrington Methodist Chapel Cemetery in Alabama.
