Obituary of Sarah-Maesarah-Mae Mitchell

MITCHELL, Sarah MaeSarah Mae Mitchell, of West Palm Beach, FL, was born on December 27, 1935 in Azucar, FL (now known as Canal Point), to Willie McNelly and Mary James. She was called home to God on April 19, 2014. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She leaves to cherish her memories to eleven children: three daughters, Phyllis Mitchell (Roy), Deborah Mitchell-Hagans (Alvin), Michelle Jimerson; eight sons, Larry Mitchell (Jemma), Bernard Mitchell, Willie Rivers, Alphonso Rivers, Michael Mitchell (Jacqueline), Clarence Mitchell, Craig Mitchell, Gerald Jimerson; twenty grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and godson James McIntyre. She was also blessed with four cherished love ones: Phyllis Pope, Gwendolyn Nalls, Ronnie Rouse, and Antonio Jones; and a host of loving and devoted friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Willie McNelly and Mary James, brother Leroy Small and grandson Anthony Mitchell. She will be most remembered for her sense of humor and unconditional love for her family and friends, whom she devoted her life to. She will forever remain in our hearts. Our loss is heaven's gain. A Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
