Sarah M. Anderson, 59, died Oct. 25, 2008, in Vero Beach. She was born in Vero Beach and was a lifelong resident. Survivors include her husband, Rufus Alexander of Vero Beach; mother, Elizabeth Gent of Vero Beach; sons, Antwyon Gent and Darius Gent, both of Vero Beach; daughter, Tammy Harris of Duluth, Ga.; brothers, R.L. Gent of Chiefland, Clayton Gent Jr. of Vero Beach and Samuel Gent of Savannah, Ga.; sisters, Emma Patterson, Wanda Bell and Sybil Johnson, all of Vero Beach, and Linda Allen of Orlando; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 at Davis Temple Church of God in Vero Beach. A service will be at 1 p.m. Nov. 1 at from St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Gifford Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hortense Mills Memorial Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
