Sarah L. Trudeau Sarah L. Trudeau formerly of Needham passed away at the Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley on July 2, 2010. Sarah was born on January 23, 1914 in Walpole, MA. At the age of 6 months, she moved to Needham Heights and lived there until 2002 when health problems required a move to Vermont to be near her sister. She attended Needham schools and later was employed by the William Carter Co. for 51 years, retiring in 1950. She was a communicant of St. Josephs Church since her childhood, a member of the craft group of Needham Senior Citizens and at one time treasurer of The Friends of the Elderly. She is survived by her sister Mary T. Baker of Middlebury VT and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her parents James Z. and Sarah A. Trudeau and her brothers Theodore and Walter Trudeau. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Joseph Church Needham on Thurs July 8 at 11:30 AM followed by burial in her family plot at St. Marys Cemetery Needham. A visiting hour was held prior to the mass in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham from 10:30 until 11:30 AM. Contributions in her name may be sent to a charity of your choice. |
