April 13, 2003 Sarah Jane Smith, 92, formerly of 833 E. Brighton Ave. and Oneida, NY passed away April 13, 2003. She was a longtime resident of the Oneida area and moved to Syracuse in 1980. Her husband, Lyle in 1973, and a son, Lyle in 1959 prede-ceased her. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Moore of Syracuse, Sarah Tucker of Canastota; three sons, Leroy of Syracuse, Raymond of Washington D.C., Harry of GA; one sister, Pauline Sayles; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and several nieces. Services: Thursday 2 p.m. at the Burns Garfield Funeral Home with burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Oneida, NY. Calling hours 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 3175 E. Genesee St., Syracuse. Contributions may be made to Salvation Army.
