Proverbs 31: 10, 28a92 years, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on November 22, 2003, at Extendicare - Southwood Lakes. Beloved wife of the late Forrest (1985). Loving mother of Ronald (1995) & his wife Mary Rose; Irwin "Casey" & his wife Rita, LaSalle; Doris Robak & Her husband Frank, London; Kenneth & his wife Freda; Alvin & his wife Florence, Oakville; Patricia Colwell & her husband Tom, LaSalle; Richard & wife Marylin, Sarnia; Larry & wife Linda, Kelowna, B.C.; and John & his wife Tracey Jewell, Guelph. Loving grandma to 25 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Gertrude was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. Visitation on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday, November 25, 2003, at 9:15 a.m. from the Janisse Bros - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. (253-5225), to St. Anne church (Walkerville) for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Fr. Ernie Corriveau celebrating. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If so desired, memorial tributes may be made to the CNIB, Alzheimer Society, or to the charity of your choice.
