Sarah Helen Givens Williams was born on October 3, 1934 in Holopaw, Florida. She graduated from Euclid High School in June of 1954 and married her high school sweetheart, Mr. Warren L. Williams, who has preceded her in death. She is survived by three brothers: Dan (Emma) Givens, Frank (Betty) Givens and Mitchell (Inell) Givens; her sister: LaVerne Brown (Bobby); her mother-in-law: Janie E. Hanks; in addition her children: Pamela Braswell (Wayne); Natalie Kay (Cheryl), Sharon Marie (Tremaine) Johnson, Warren L., II (Daphne) and David Wendell. Sarah worked for the Duvall Home for over 20 years, finally retiring to enjoy her 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved very much. A host of cousins, nieces and nephews, whom also mourn her passing. Sarah, an Eastern Star, enjoyed an active social life, going to the movies and most of all, shopping. Memorial services will be held at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 282 Church Street, Lake Helen, FL today (Saturday, May 16) at 10:00 a.m., Reverend Thomas Maultsby, officiating.
