GIBSON, SARAH age 67, of Bessemer, AL, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011. Mrs. Gibson was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. She was retired from Southern Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Frances Moses Archer; her step son, George David Gibson; her brother, Johnny Archer and her sister, Billie Ruth Archer. She is survived by her husband, Alfred E. Gibson, Sr.; her sons, Randy Joe Wallace (Debra Napier), Stephen Brittian Wallace and Alfred E. Gibson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Brittian Nathanael Travis, Brook Lorene Carr and Christopher Davin Gibson; her great grandchildren, Hadley Carr and Levi Carr. Funeral services will be held at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home Monday, December 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery Abernant, AL. Pastor Jerry Mitchell will be officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, December 19, 2011 from 12:00 noon until service time. >
