Sarah G. Wall - DURHAM COUNTY - Sarah G. Wall, 85, passed away, Saturday, October 4, 2008. She was born July 31, 1923 in Durham County . She was the daughter of the late Lionel and Lessie Mae Lambert Chalmers. Sarah was a member of Grace Baptist Temple Church , she loved her church. Sarah was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Frederick Wall, one son, Freddie Lee Wall, one brother and a one sister. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Belinda Barnette of Savannah GA. , Kathey Self and husband DaLane of Elm City, one brother, Louis Chalmers and wife Joyce of Durham, seven grandchildren, Robert, Marc and Michael Barnette, Shawn and Jason Wall, Tyral Self and Juanita Cunningham, nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, October 6, 2008 from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Grace Baptist Temple Church . Funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m., with Dr. Kevin Hudson officiating. Committal service will be Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 2:30 p.m., at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Savannah , Georgia.
