FRIESEN - The death of Sarah Friesen, age 79 years of Saskatoon, occurred suddenly at St. Paul's Hospital on Wednesday, November 17, 2004. The Funeral Service will be held at First Mennonite Church, 418 Queen St. on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Sarah is survived by her children; son Ron of Saskatoon, Ed (Bev) of Edmonton, AB, Arlene (Byron) McFarland of Saskatoon and Elsie (Mark) Nebroski of Winnipeg, MB; four grandchildren, Shane, Kyle, Curtis and Michelle; sister, Betty (Bob) Ganton of Melfort, SK; and two brothers, Cornelius (Mary) Peters and John Peters, both of Saskatoon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John in 1968; and a brother, Frank. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H7. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
