Obituary of Sarah-Elizabeth Maddox


Funeral service for Sarah Elizabeth Maddox, 64, will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church of Sylacauga with Rev. Albert W. Pike officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Springs Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL. Mrs. Maddox died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Trinity Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Sadie Burton; and her brother, Billy Jack Burton. She is survived by her husband, James Maddox; sons, Keith Maddox, wife Crystal, of Childersburg and Kevin Maddox, wife Janice, of Birmingham; daughter, Kimberly Williams, husband Andy, of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Chance Maddox, Houston Maddox, Elle Maddox, Lauren Maddox, Trey Blackmon, Trevor Williams and Makayla Williams; brothers, Mack Burton, wife Pat, Judson Burton, wife Lynn, Sammy Burton, wife Jean, and Archie Burton, Jr.; sisters, Helen Brown, Cricket White, husband Skeet, and Alice Harrison, husband Bill; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Lovett and Frances Burton. Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church of Sylacauga. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com. Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
