Sarah Davis, 58, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at a local hospital.Sarah was born in the Republic of South Korea on June 10, 1955. She loved to sing and work in her flower gardens. When she wasn't busy raising her family, she spent over 40 years of her adult life in service to others as choir director and choir member at numerous churches and military chapels and by performing volunteer work at nursing homes and hospices. She also organized many prayer groups and loved to study the Bible. She was a constant witness for our Lord and proclaimed the good news to anyone she met. She started a Multiple Myeloma Support Group in Panama City, Fla., and was a member of one in Charlotte, N.C. In that capacity she demonstrated strength and set a good example to others diagnosed with that disease. Her other passions included playing piano and guitar, singing Christian music and fashion modeling. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Michael Davis; two sons, Steven Davis (Jade) and their daughter, Stella; and Justin Davis (Rachel) and their daughters Amber and Arabella; three sisters Suni Yamamoto (Kenneth) Kyong Hi and Chung Hi from Korea; two brothers, Daniel, of Denver, Colo., and Kun Sok from Korea. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 26, 2014 at St. Dominic. Father Anthony Nguyen will be officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday May 25, 2014 from 6-8 p.m.. at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.Sarah's final wish was to tell everyone "Never stop believing in God and have a deep personal relationship with the Holy Spirit.
