Morrison, Sarah Cowles Lyddon Washington, D.C.: On Thursday, November 15, 2007 at age 68. Survived by brothers Paul (Kaoru) of Honolulu, HI and David (Sally) of Pittsford, N.Y., four nieces, one nephew and many caring friends. Born in Rochester, N.Y., she graduated from Harley School and the University of Vermont. While living in New York City, she worked for Glamour, Vogue and Venture Magazines as well as the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Bureau of Tourism. Sarah moved to Washington, D.C. in 1977, worked at the American Legion and authored several books. She was a member of the Colonial Dames of the XVIIth Century and the DAR. Sarah was very interested in foreign policy, attending numerous lectures, meetings and social events. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 2:30 PM at St. John's Church Lafayette Square on Washington, D.C. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Church or to the Halquist Memorial Inpatient Unit of Capital Hospice.
