LYMAN, SC-- Sarah Effie Bishop Johnson, 93, of 10 Hidden Valley Road, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born on September 12, 1913, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Lula James Bishop and the wife of the late Marvin Johnson. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church, but attended First Baptist Church of Lyman in her later years.Survivors include six daughters, Carolyn Eubanks, and Rhonda Finley and her husband Tommy, all of Spartanburg, Judy McCarter and her husband Jerry of Duncan, Rita Lash and her husband Bobby, and Janice Foster and her husband Dennis, all of Atlanta, GA; and Terry Disney and her husband Cliff of Pensacola, FL; two sisters, Wilma Cannon and Ann Johnson, both of Roebuck; eleven granddaughters; six grandsons; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kim Eubanks; four brothers; and five sisters. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother to her daughters and to the grandchildren as their LOVING MA MA.Visitation will be from 11:00-11:45 AM on Friday, December 8, 2006, at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at the Chapel conducted by her nephew, the Rev. Don Johnson.
