Sarah (Sally) Kathleen Freeman Anderson, 94, widow of Hilliard G. (Hilly) Anderson, died September 15, 2008 at Piedmont Living Center.A native of Ware Shoals, daughter of the late William Lee and Wynona Lee Reid Freeman, and mother of a predeceased son, George Eric Anderson, she was a retired employee of Homelite, a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, and a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She discovered a talent for painting and took art lessons after her retirement.Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Hilliard A. and Gene Kaminski of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn G. Anderson Brown of Greenville; four grandchildren, Timothy Lee McGowan, Christopher Edward McGowan, Erin Anderson Lee, and Zachary Garlington Anderson; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.Mrs. Anderson was predeceased also by a brother and five sisters.Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday Woodlawn Memorial Park conducted by Rev.
