THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Sara Williams, 93, widow of Mr. J.B. Williams Jr., entered into rest Tuesday, December 30, 2014 . Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 02, 2015 in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Melissa Reynolds and Mr. Ralph Starling officiating. Mrs. Williams was a native of Lincoln Co., but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was retired as a secretary and a member of Young Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband J. B. Williams Jr. and her grandson Mike Hogan. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Hogan, Thomson; two sons, J.B. Williams, III and Jerry Williams, both of Thomson; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild. Pallbearers will be Winston Hogan Jr., Scott Williams, John Williams, Jared Williams, Michael Price, Cody Luke, Will Hogan and Ralph Starling. Friends may call the Curtis Funeral Home.
