Sara McBride Lowry, 88, of Greenville, widow of J.P. Lowry Jr., died Wednesday, July 26, 2006.Born July 12, 1918, in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Roland Thompson and Lois Cobb McBride.She and her husband were owners of J.P. Lowry Insurance Agency.As long as her health permitted, she was a very active member of First Presbyterian Church, Greenville.Surviving are her brother, Ralph McBride, and his wife, Lucy, of Greenville; and nieces and nephews, Mac McBride, Holly Traywick, Susan Lemmon and Julias Stoudemire.Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, July 29, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. in Springwood Cemetery, with Dr. Randolph Kowalski officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 200 W.
