<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->July 5, 1937 - July 1, 2014 Sara Kathryn Hall, age 76, of Green Pond, AL, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. She was a charter member of Green Pond Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Hall received several awards for her cooking and she was famous for her pies. She was preceded in death by her son, Little Cecil Hall and her daughter, Sharon Kay Hall. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Cecil Hall; her sons, Donnie (Cindi) Hall, Danny (Teresa) Hall and Dale (Carla) Hall; her grandchildren, Stepheny, Krissy, Kim, Little Donnie, Mikie, Bryan, Kristen, D.C., Nick, Drew and Big A, a host of special great grandchildren; special friends, Sister Ervin and Sister Pat along with her brothers and sisters in Christ. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Pond Church of God of Prophecy with burial at Green Pond Presbyterian Cemetery. Bro. William Noe will be officiating. Mrs. Hall will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until service time. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home.
