Sara Adams Henderson, 90, widow of Rosco Henderson, died Thursday, August 28, 2003, at Cannon Memorial Hospital.A native of Pickens, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Elisha and Waco Rackley Adams. She was an accountant with Pickens County School System, was a graduate of Pickens High School, was a member of Pickens First Baptist and the LPGA and was devoted to her family.Survivors: A son, Robert Lee Henderson II, and his wife, Jan, of Raleigh, N.C.; a brother, Oscar Adams, of Columbia; a sister, Ruth A. Hunt, of Pickens; and a grandson, William Blake Henderson, of Raleigh.Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Memorial Park. -- Dillard Memorial Funeral Home is serving the family.
