Sara Frances Jackson, 79, of Talmo passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday March 23, in Ward's Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mark Mullinax officiating. Burial will be in Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Ms. Jackson was born in Jackson County and was the daughter of the late H. G. Jackson and Pauline Ledford Jackson. She was of the Baptist faith.Survivors are brother and sister-in-law, H. G. "Buddy" Jackson Jr. and Nina Jackson of Gillsville; sisters, Mary Jackson of Gainesville and Alma "Judy" Jackson of Talmo; 12 nieces and nephews; and a large number of great-nieces great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.Thanks to everyone that made her last days comfortable.
