-> Sara Elizabeth "Libby" Carter, 72, of Savannah, departed this life on December 15, 2003 and entered into eternal rest alongside her husband of 41 years Champ E .Carter. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Libby was born in Bulloch County and lived in Savannah most of her life. She was a very active member of the Quacco Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph E. and Diane A. Carter, David E. and Patty H. Carter, all of Savannah; a brother, Bud Howard, of Savannah; one sister, Ora Lee Davis, of Savannah; four grandchildren, Timmy, Matthew, Rebecca Carter and Rachel Foote all of Savannah.
