Sara Elizabeth Gibson, 81, Tuscumbia, died Jan. 14, 2009.Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, in the chapel, with burial in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Minister Donnie McDaniel.Mrs. Gibson was a member of York Terrace Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cotis Gibson.Survivors include sons, John Gibson, of Georgia, Stanley Gibson, of Northport, Ala., Steve Gibson, of Tuscumbia, Clark Gibson, of Ellabell, Ga., and Henry Gibson, of Millbrook, Ala.; daughter, Lucy Gibson, of Florence, Ala.; brother, Jessie Garner, of Morrison, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren.Pallbearers will be family and friends.Colbert Memorial Chapel of the Shoals is directing.
